Gary Powers, Managing Director of The Regency Security Group, has been appointed Chairman of the BSIA Leisure Industry Sector.

Regency Security Services (UK) Ltd joined the BSIA in April of this year. The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) is the trade association for the professional security industry in the UK. Members are responsible for more than 70% of privately provided UK security products and services (by turnover) including the manufacture, distribution and installation of electronic and physical security equipment and the provision of security guarding, door supervision and consultancy services.

Gary Powers said ‘I am very proud to have been appointed as Chairman for the Leisure Industry Sector within the BSIA. I believe that through my Chairmanship I will be able to be the voice of the Leisure Industry Sector that is sometimes missing when important decisions are made about our industry. The BSIA is a fantastic association to work with. There’s no other trade association in the UK that gives our business the commercial advantage and ensures we are at the heart of influencing the future of the late night security industry.’
