Regency Security has been awarded the contract to provide Street Marshals to Tiptree, Essex, by Tiptree Parish Council.
Last year, after it was announced that Tiptree would lose their police foot patrols, Tiptree Parish Council announced they were considering paying for a private security firm to provide Street Marshals to the area. Currently we are one of the largest private suppliers of security personnel in the UK. With our head office based very local to Tiptree and with local Senior Management and Field Operatives, Tiptree Parish Council, through a very strict tender and presentation process awarded us with the contract to provide them with street/park patrols, static guards and mobile response patrols.
As the only private security company in the area that holds Essex Police CSAS Accreditation we are more than just another company offering private patrols.
We are amongst the most highly accredited companies in the country and hold the prestigious ACS (Approved Contractor Status) by the SIA, the countrys governing body within the security industry. All of our staff are vetted in line with British Standards and in addition to this we have been fully vetted and approved by the Essex Police CSAS body as well as also holding the nationwide accreditation which we achieved through ACPO last year.
With the ever increasing pressure that national police cuts are putting on the extended communities, these street marshalling patrols will hopefully offer the local residents the confidence to know that their area is being looked after and not suffering should the police presence not always be what it once was.
Our Operatives will be targeting anti-social behaviour such as vandalism, graffiti, youths setting fires to things and such like. Our teams will be covering their duties with CCTV and body-cams and those acting in an anti-social manner or those breaking the law will be filmed in addition to the legal ramifications. As an Essex Police CSAS company, we will be their eyes and ears in the area so will be liaising with them closely and passing on intelligence where anti-social and/or criminal activity is occurring.
The collective overview of these patrols is that A presence of a professional company with low-end police powers is vastly better than a vacuum of any presence at all.
We encourage feedback of trouble or anti-social behaviour witnessed by local residents, perhaps through their local community Facebook pages or through the Parish Council so that we may serve them and the area to the best of our ability. All operatives will receive additional bespoke training and we will be providing full reports to the Parish Council of our patrols, whom have been so very pro-active with the best interests of the local community in making this appointment and taking these steps.
