The Regency Security Group is incredibly pleased to announce we have now completed the acquisition of Abal Security Services Ltd.

Abal Security Services Ltd is a highly regarded private security company in the South of England. Established in 1995, Abal quickly became known as one of the most dynamic companies in the market. Abal deals in similar fields to the Regency Security Group, Door Supervision, Guarding & Events, Event Security, Key Holding & Mobile Patrols and Close Protection, so it was a natural fit when the acquisition was first brought to the table.

Regency Security has always stayed true to our ethos of being a standards-driven company. With each industry accreditation we have always been at the very forefront of compliance, so when looking at potential businesses acquisitions, it is important that we only work with companies with similar business practise. Abal holds the ISO:9001 standard as well as being one of the first companies in the UK to become an ACS company and compliance has always been an integral part of their business.

Abal’s client base consists of large leisure companies such as Stonegate and Wetherspoons along with many independent venues predominantly situated in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and London. There will be approximately 150 venues moving across to the Regency fold and some 300 Door Supervisors meaning that Regency will be supplying in excess of 2000 Door Staff every weekend across the country, securing the position of the largest provider of Door Supervisors in the UK. Regency’s turnover will be in excess of £20m.

This is our 3rd acquisition in 18 months having previously acquired Securidoor and Doorsec, and obviously when integrating 2 companies there is an increase in work load for my Operations and Office Staff.
