Regency Security were proud to be providing security when Bill Gates visited the Cambridge Union. Mr Gates was speaking on Monday morning (October 7) after being named the 2019 recipient of the Professor Hawking Fellowship, founded by the Cambridge Union Society in 2017 in honour of Prof Stephen Hawkings contribution to Cambridge.

Bill Gates launched Microsoft with a childhood friend in 1975, it went on to become the world’s largest personal computer software company. Earlier this year, Forbes announced Gates Net Worth to be US$103.7 billion.
Later in his career and since leaving Microsoft, Gates pursued several philanthropic endeavours. He donated large amounts of money to various charitable organisations and scientific research programs through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, reported to be the world’s largest private charity.
