Safe Haven supports those in need of assistance in the Norwich night time environment on Friday and Saturday nights. They offer a range of services to people from a hot drink, plasters to emergency clothing.

The scheme and security was originally funded by Norfolk Police, however when this funding came to an end the scheme was nearly closed due to being unable to fund the security they needed to continue.

Gary Powers, Managing Director of Regency Security stepped in and offered the services of Regency Security for free to allow the scheme to continue. Gary said, “I felt it was really important to support the Safe Haven scheme as it’s an invaluable service to the night time economy in Norwich City Centre.”

In 2015 Safe Haven was awarded the High Sheriff’s award in recognition of its valuable services to the community of Norfolk.
