Regency Guarding and Events are delighted to announce a new contract for the provision of security support services at the NHS Walk-in Centre located within Rouen House, Norwich. The building is managed by Nwes, the largest enterprise agency in the UK.
Rouen House has a vast array of businesses including Norwich Practices Ltd who have a contract with NHS England, to provide NHS primary care and urgent services. Norwich Practices Ltd is owned by Norwich GPs to provide services for patients across the city.
The Walk-in Centre provides services to the whole county as well as visitors from anywhere in the country. They provide advice, treatment for minor ailments, and routine services such as blood testing by specially-trained staff. The Walk-in Centre is open from 7am until 9pm, 7 days a week. During this time Regency staff provides dedicated security personnel to support Doctors, Nurses, other members of staff and visiting patients.
We are very extremely pleased to be working with Nwes at the Norwich NHS Walk-In centre. Regency also provides security patrols at several hospitals within the Mid-Essex, Southend and Basildon Hospitals Group said Conor Powers, Executive Director of Regency Guarding and Events.
The most recent NHS staff survey showed that sadly more than 15% of NHS employees have experienced violence from patients, their relatives or the public in the last 12 months the highest figure for 5 years.
